We are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join an educational setting, supporting students who exhibit challenging behaviour. This role involves assisting in the implementation of behaviour management strategies, fostering positive relationships with students, and working collaboratively with educational staff and families.
- Support students in managing challenging behaviour within an educational environment.
- Assist teachers in the development and execution of behaviour management strategies.
- Monitor and record student behaviour and progress effectively.
- Build and maintain positive, supportive relationships with students.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to create and implement individualised behaviour plans.
- Participate in meetings with parents and professionals to discuss student progress and next steps.
- Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Experience: Prior experience working with individuals displaying challenging behaviour.
- Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Calm, patient, and resilient approach in challenging situations.
Knowledge of behaviour management techniques.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

- First Aid certification.

You will be working in an educational setting alongside teachers, students, and their families. The role may occasionally require evening or weekend availability for meetings or school events. A calm and adaptable nature is essential to succeed in this position.
