Our successful candidates enjoy working with people and have a strong results-driven motivation. Combined with good general wine knowledge, they possess solid sales experience from previously working in hospitality and the wine trade.
About the job
You will be maintaining an existing customer base; incorporating the planning and evolving of wine lists, providing staff training to encourage up-selling, and liaising with the office to ensure our customers receive a five-star service.
In addition, you will be constantly looking for new on-trade accounts; utilising your previous contacts, revisiting dormant accounts, and actively seeking new sales opportunities.
In return, you can expect to receive a guaranteed income together with a profit-based bonus scheme, as well as full support from the head office team. Regular tastings will ensure you can build on your existing wine knowledge and be confident when promoting the portfolio.
