We are working with a market leading and globally recognised manufacturing company in the Medway area to resource for a HR Business Partner.
This position involves leading strategic initiatives in talent management and employee development to build and sustain a high-performance workforce. The HRBP will work closely with leadership to identify, develop and retain top talent and support the business' goals. You will foster a positive employee experience, ensuring compliance with UK employment laws and driving organisational performance whilst effectively managing ER issues.
The role
1. Manage complex ER issues, including disciplinary and grievance processes
2. Conduct thorough investigations and provide expert guidance to resolve workplace conflicts
3. Act as a trusted advisor to management on all HR-related matters
4. Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives
5. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making
6. Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards and best practices
7. Lead HR projects and support wellbeing campaigns
8. Provide training to managers on employment law and facilitate learning and development initiatives
9. Identify and assess training needs, create and maintain training matrices, develop relevant programs, and manage a comprehensive training library
10. Support workforce planning, including succession planning and talent acquisition strategies
11. Design, lead, and execute recruitment campaigns, including employer branding and job fair attendance
12. Oversee and enhance employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless transition
13. Manage employee relocations effectively
14. Drive continuous learning and professional development initiatives across the organisation
15. Use creative problem-solving to enhance HR processes
16. Assist in implementing organisational changes, including restructures
17. Track and analyse key HR metrics to identify trends and recommend interventions
