Don't miss out on this opportunity to join a successful, growing Fortune 500 Company Cost Accountant - Purpose of the Role: To support the business by the analysis and reporting of results necessary to drive informed decision-making related to business unit performance. Cost Accountant - Key Responsibilities: - Create and maintain accurate product standard costings - Provide production analytics to understand and report site performance - Assist with systems migration to Oracle as required - Assist with customer contract negotiations by the provision of customer and product profitability - To provide the site controller with costs, revenue, and balance sheet analyses - Manage periodic cycle count and annual stocktake - Responsibility for updating Business, Planning and Consolidation (BPC) data, and reports including actual's, forecast & Budgets - Assist with monthly, quarterly and strategic planning process, and the annual Budget. - Responsibility for statutory accounting - Support External and Internal audits - To cover for other members of the finance team Cost Accountant - The Candidate: - CIMA qualified or equivalent - Experience in the manufacturing sector required - In-depth understanding of an ERP solution - Structured approach to problem-solving - Advanced Microsoft skills (macro level) - Analytical and self-motivated - Effective communicator at all levels - Strong planning and organisational abilities - Able to work under pressure - Eager to learn new methods and tasks - Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus Cost Accountant - Benefits: - 26 days annual holiday Public Holidays - Group Life Assurance - Group Income Protection - Free car parking Hiring Process: Please be aware that we are currently unable to offer sponsorship, so applicants must already have the Right to Work in the UK.
