As a Prebuild Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Flex Manager in the successful delivery of our Openreach projects in the Midlands and will be responsible for ensuring Spine and TRR Crews are working efficiently, safely and receiving high-quality results through performance measures. You will be responsible for the spine and survey build, ensuring the project team are prepared to successfully deliver their PON build delivery targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Working as part of a team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
* Promoting a positive and professional image of the department by adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards.
* Raising and following up on non-conformance reports to ensure that any actions identified are pursued and resolved.
* Working safely and responsibly within MJ Quinn’s values and operational policies, procedures, and accepted behaviours to avoid harm to yourself, those around you, and our neighbours and communities.
* Accurate reporting of Spine & TRR progress to the Flex Manager, Project Manager, and customer.
* Attending meetings and conference calls with internal and external stakeholders
* Continuously working to improve efficiencies and processes to ensure that build is completed in the most cost-effective manner
* Ensuring that all engineers' accreditations are kept up to date and relevant to the job role, including weekly review & capture of KPI data to manage crews’ performance
* Ensuring that all dependencies are completed in line with the initial deployment plan, enabling efficient delivery for the PON build teams
* Managing TM requirements & compliance across all pre-build activities as required.
* Ensuring a robust auditing regime is carried out in line with MJQ Quality team
* Rectifying all defects in a timely manner as per customer guidelines
* Performing any ad-hoc duties as requested by the line manager
To be successful in this role the Pre-Build Supervisor will:
* Hold a full driving license held for a minimum of 12 months with no more than 6 points.
* Have strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities.
* Enjoy a challenge, have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels.
* Have a high standard of numeracy.
* Be educated to a G.C.S.E level B+ in Mathematics & English (or equivalent).
* Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Have a strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
* Be able to prioritise work, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage business expectations.
* Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
* Complete a DBS check prior to start date.
* Have a legal right to work in the UK.
