Job description: Role Purpose: Service Desk Analyst (2nd line) The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations ͏Responsibilities: Managed by the Operations Lead Provide strong 2nd line technical support to end users across the business, focusing on Microsoft desktop and application operating environment. Diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues, focusing on end-user technologies and supporting platforms. Provide excellent customer service and be a first point of call for IT support queries from internal staff. This could be via the service desk platform, phone, email, Teams, or face-to-face. Administer the service desk and act upon requests for change and system access. Needs to have good face-to-face/phone/email customer service skillset alongside decent 2nd line experience.
