We have an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a small animal veterinary practice in the Dartford Area, Kent
* full time opportunity working 37.5 hours a week including a 1 in 3 Saturday rota and no Sundays, no OOH
* practice is purpose built with state of the art equipment; digital X-ray, in-house lab, Doppler blood pressure, digital radiography, ultrasound, capnography, pulse oximetry, v-gels for cats and rabbits, surgical suction and separate dog and cat wards etc.
* busy with an interesting and varied caseload with both surgical and medical cases
* ideally you will have 2 years + experience and be happy to take some occasional sole charge responsibility
* great opportunity to further your interests and develop your skills
* join a team of 3 Vets and 6 RVNs with Cerificate holders in small animal surgery and a keen interest in orthopaedics.
* generous CPD allowance and certificate study supported
* well located with ample onsite parking, easy access to the A2 and walking distance of frequent high-speed links to Central London.
* Company car is available with this role.
Person Requirements
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
* Registered with the RCVS
* 2 years + experience
* happy to take some occasional sole charge responsibility
