You will be working as part of the Digital Performance team, consisting of Analytics, Optimisation and Acquisition. The team plays a critical part in ensuring our Trading forecast are accurate and our content strategy is delivering SEO growth.
Virgin Atlantic's Digital Analyst will be a crucial part of the digital performance team providing key analytics for future strategies and day-to-day performance metrics. You will be responsible for using our analytics tools to find opportunities and provide practical insights for journey improvements to benefit our customers and our commercial success. You'll help with the huge digital transformation that the company is going through using Adobe Analytics, Quantum metrics, and Ensighten to identify problems, enhance the implementation, and improve processes. You will guide and help train the team to advance them to where they need to be.
Day to day
Some of your key responsibilities as our Digital Analyst will be:
* Delivery of powerful, commercially sound insights to improve trading, UX and support decision-making to drive sales.
* Identify and drive strategic critical metric measurements with actionable outputs through intuitive visualisation (dashboards etc) using Power BI.
* Analysing data sources such as Adobe Analytics, Quantum metrics or Databricks to produce commercially focused optimisation recommendations for our digital journeys and highlighting external aviation market factors.
* Ensuring analytics tracking, implementation and tag components are on point with greater efficiency on data quality.
* Weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPI reporting to diagnose onsite customer journey, funnel troubleshooting and identify where improvements can be made.
* Manage optimisation of Adobe Analytics, Quantum metrics, Ensighten (TMS) and Power BI reporting and other internal reporting systems.

In addition, the ideal candidate will be highly organised and able to manage their own workload. They will have a restless curiosity and be driven by numbers and data. You will also have an entrepreneurial flair and be comfortable assisting with proposals and new business pitches along with working in a fast pace agile environment and demonstrate the following:
* Solid understanding of customer experience and behaviour online, and experienced in web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Quantum metrics, SimilerWeb and Medallia.
* Demonstrable experience in architecting, implementing, and deploying tracking tools in Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
* Experience analysing and applying statistical modelling to large data sets, with skills required in JavaScript, Advanced SQL, Power BI and Tableau.
* Ability to influence upward and inspire change horizontally and vertically.
* Analytically driven to provide insight into problem-solving solutions, working to strict deadlines in an agile environment.
* Ability to manage multiple projects at once, to take the initiative and get things done.
* Ability to keep pace with a dynamic, constantly evolving product road map with many moving parts.
