Corin is seeking additional Quality Inspectors at our manufacturing head office site in Cirencester, where we design, engineer, make, inspect, and distribute globally. As a Quality Inspector, you will review and assess products and supporting documentation to ensure that specified standards for acceptance are achieved.
You will ideally have previous inspection/quality control experience can use Taylor Hobson and Keyence equipment and be able to read engineering technical drawings.

The key responsibilities of a trained Quality Inspector are to:
1. Inspect raw materials and semi/finished products to the agreed specification.
2. Verify the product using standard metrology equipment Shadowgraphs, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Callipers, Micrometres, etc.
3. Identify and disposition non-conforming products.
4. Ensure accuracy and compliance thereof to Good Documentation Practice (GDP) for the following records including, but not limited to: - Process Inspection Sheets, Goods Inwards Inspection Sheets, and all associated documentation.
5. Record output from inspection activities on the corresponding software Mestec, Sage
6. Conduct inspection activities across all areas of the business including, but not limited to: - Clean Room, Goods Inwards, Manufacturing Cells, and Final Inspection.
7. Ensure compliance with training activities and support buddy training as required.
8. Ensure that all equipment used is suitable for calibration and is free from damage before use.
9. Retrieve items due for calibration promptly and as per the list supplied.
10. Conduct periodic checks on inspection equipment where specified including, but not limited to: - light levels, callipers before use, etc.
11. Undertake other related duties as required: including but not limited to review of completed batch records (DHR) and release for stock, following documented Work Instructions and Checklists
12. Liaise with all departments, as necessary to resolve and clarify any points of issue resulting from DHR Review and publish regular updates as needed.
13. Perform transactional activities within relevant systems Sage and, QPulse in support of batch disposition and recording of non-conformance data for trending purposes.
14. Maintain records to ensure safe storage with efficient and effective retrieval to include co-ordination of off-site records.
15. Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with Corin’s ISO13485 QMS & Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) FDA21 CFR Part 820.
16. Ensure that process and timeline requirements for Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) are met following Corin’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and in support of Corin’s Global Objectives for CAPA.
