The role
To develop and deliver an effective CRM strategy at ITV, in support of the Marketing goals, particularly focusing on driving conversion and retention of viewers for ITV's streaming proposition. The main responsibilities are:
1. Develop the strategy for CRM and targeted in-stream VOD promotions in support of the M&E and Marketing goals.
2. Lead the development of an effective segmentation and targeting approach, to get the right message to the right viewer at the right time.
3. Work with the wider Marketing department to set channel KPIs for the team.
4. Collaborate with the wider Media team to deliver integrated media activity.
5. Lead the CRM team to deliver that strategy through effective planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
6. Monitor the impact of CRM, via appropriate attribution and econometric modelling, and drive an effectiveness-led culture.
7. Lead M&E's approach to CRM consent and work with the Legal team to ensure compliance and best practice.
8. Act as the lead CRM expert for M&E, champion data-led and automated marketing, and be a senior voice on the Media Leadership Team.
9. Work with the Senior Media Capability Manager to identify, deliver and maintain the martech required for CRM and wider data-led marketing activities.
10. Manage external agencies and suppliers, and effectively deploy the CRM budget to ensure the successful delivery of CRM at ITV.
11. Manage a high performing team, delivering results and supporting the team's development.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
1. Highly experienced in data-driven marketing, with a strong understanding of one-to-one communication strategies.
2. A strong understanding of how to use insight, segmentation and targeting to drive relevance and improve performance.
3. Demonstrated ability to define business targets and KPIs for CRM and/or another performance marketing channel.
4. Leadership experience, with a track record of building high performing teams and influencing others.
