To generate, working collaboratively with the franchise, actionable business insights that drive data-driven decision-making. Leverage, as required, advanced analytics methodologies, tools, and techniques and effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders. Play a crucial role in promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organisation and ensuring the company stays at the forefront of innovation in analytics and business insights.
Accountabilities
1. Understand the franchise strategy and operational priorities to generate actionable business insights and drive data-driven decision-making whether this is through secondary data analysis or primary market research. Derive insights through utilising existing dashboards, implementing advanced analytics methodologies, tools, and techniques as needed.
2. Collaborate and challenge cross-functional teams to identify key business questions and develop appropriate analytical approaches to address them effectively with either secondary care data, primary market research or a combination. Champion the use of Incap for deriving commercial insights on market and competitor landscapes.
3. Lead and manage the end-to-end forecasting process across both the annual Outlook + 1 and LTF cycles.
4. Liaise with the franchise cross-functional team to develop sound insight-led assumptions to inform the individual models to predict market, class, and brand growth over a 3-5 year period for the franchise.
5. Present output of forecasting and impact of assumptions to align with the franchise, finance, and HPLT as appropriate, making amendments where necessary.
6. Design dashboards and visualisations to support effective communication of complex data insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization liaising with developers to ensure requirements are delivered in line with business needs and relevant for the stakeholder group.
7. Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including technology vendors and data providers, to ensure access to the latest tools and data sources.
8. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and business insights, ensuring BI remains at the forefront of innovation as well as keep abreast of market and competitor developments including availability of new datasets.
9. Ensure that all activities comply with relevant legal requirements, ethical standards, ABPI (PMPCA) and IPHA regulations, and BI and Alliance Company policies.
