Location: South Shields, North East England
Salary: £27,000 - £38,810 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: Immediate or January 2024 start
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school in South Shields. The ideal candidate will inspire young learners, foster a love for learning, and contribute to the school’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive.
* Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best educational outcomes for students.
* Support the school’s ethos and contribute to its wider community activities.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting (either KS1 or KS2).
* Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
* Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* A passion for nurturing the holistic development of children.
