Administrator RAF Brize Norton, Carterton, Oxfordshire, OX18 3LX Permanent Full Time, Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week Salary £24,274 plus benefits Here at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire, Serco has been providing multi-activity and engineering support since 1997. RAF Brize Norton is the largest operating base within the Royal Air Force, providing air transport and air-to-air refuelling to the RAF fleet. Working alongside the larger Serco Brize Norton team, the key purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient organisation and operation of the General Duties Flight (GD Flt) administration office in support of the Station Adjutant and Station Warrant Officer. Main Accountabilities: Handling telephone/email enquiries, arranging meetings and distribution of briefing packs as required. Maintain the Orderly Officer and Station duties rosters ensuring orders are kept up to date and information is distributed accordingly. Maintain the MoD GD Flt SharePoint site and databases. Collate and distribute information as Station Routine Orders and After Orders as necessary. Administrative support to GD Flt staff relating to parades and Ceremonial duties, Honours and Awards and any disciplinary issues that require an audit trail and onward processing. Coordinate and maintain the Commanding Officer’s and Barrack Block inspection register and document and distribution of any actions arising from inspections to relevant personnel. Ensure that Information Management (IM) policy procedures are followed within GD Flt in accordance with MoD Publications. What I need to do the role? Proven administration skills and be able to maintain discretion and confidentiality. Good interpersonal skills and a confident approach to personal communications. Ability to work in a team and to proactively support the Serco requirement. Organised and proficient in use of MS Office and Excel Excellent Customer service skills.
