Job Role: Account Manager, South / South-West
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and open new business sales opportunities.
· Offer support and training to existing customers.
· Grow the range and average spend in accounts.
· Maintain business margins and achieve growth targets.
· Make effective outbound calls to key decision-makers.
· Perform business-to-business (B2B) cold calling.
· Assist the logistics team when required.
Required Skills: The successful candidate will:
* Demonstrate a strong desire to work in a sales environment.
* Be a highly motivated, proactive self-starter.
* Be well-organized and commercially aware.
* Have a background or interest in dairy farming and/or food.
* Sales experience is an advantage.
* Show commitment and drive for business development.
* Have the ability to build relationships.
Training:
* A fast-track training program will be offered (location and period to be determined).
* Product knowledge training, including hands-on experience.
* Specialist computer software training.
* Extensive cheese training.
