Join our public sector client as a Switchboard Operator! We are looking for a professional, reliable, and flexible individual that is passionate about providing exceptional service. You will possess excellent communication and computer skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, whilst supporting the general public.
Temporary ongoing role with full-time working hours. Working on a shift rota 5 over 7 days, including some weekends.
Shifts are - 6AM-2PM, 8:30AM-4:30PM, 9AM-5PM, 10AM-6PM, 1:30PM-9:30PM AND 2PM-10PM.
Hourly rate between £11.44PH and £20.94PH.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Answer incoming external and internal calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient, colleague, and customer's inquiries and concerns.
2. Provide accurate and relevant information regarding services, policies, and procedures.
3. Document and update records in an organised manner.
4. Maintain a positive and friendly rapport with customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
5. Collaborate with team members to resolve complex customer issues efficiently.
Requirements:
1. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
2. Good computer skills.
3. Ability to multitask and navigate computer systems efficiently.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet.
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
6. Adaptable and open to learning new systems and technologies.
7. Previous call centre experience is preferred but not required.
