We’re on the lookout for a passionate, creative, and energetic SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Support Assistant to join our team in Blyth! About the Role:
This is a temporary, full-time position where you’ll be working alongside a fantastic team to support students with special educational needs. You’ll help them thrive, develop their skills, and most importantly, make learning a fun and exciting adventure!
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Helping to create a fun, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
* Encouraging students to participate, learn, and grow with confidence
* Working closely with teachers to plan and deliver tailored support
* Being a positive role model, championing independence and self-esteem
What We’re Looking For:
* A positive attitude and the ability to bring joy and enthusiasm to the classroom
* Experience working with children (SEND experience is a bonus!)
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in students' lives
* Team player who’s ready to get stuck in and help however needed
