Job Role: Registered Manager Location: Sunderland Salary £45,000 - £50,000 Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Manager in a Care Home Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for your next challenge? We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a client for a 38-bed care home providing residential care for elderly residents, including those with dementia. About the Role: As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained. You will lead a dedicated team, oversee the safety and well-being of the residents, and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage the home’s operations in line with its registration status and legal obligations. Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents. Develop and implement care plans, ensuring regular reviews and assessments. Manage staffing levels and provide effective leadership and support to the team. Maintain the home’s budget and resources effectively. Foster good relationships with residents, staff, families, and external professionals. Address and resolve any complaints and implement staff training and development. Oversee the home’s marketing and business planning efforts. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a care home setting. Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, safeguarding, and care standards.
