Detailed job description and main responsibilities
We are looking for highly motivated, knowledgeable and enthusiastic ACPs to join our team.
You will be provided with a supervised induction period to enable you to develop your skills and competencies within Acute Medicine. You will be part of a very experienced team of longstanding ACPs and Consultants, who will provide guidance and mentorship. The successful candidate will have an allocated Consultant supervisor to help support you.
Following a fully supported induction period you will be responsible for autonomously assessing, diagnosing and treating the undifferentiated patient on the medical take. This will involve requesting relevant radiology diagnostics and prescribing. You will be working closely with the whole MDT and referring to multiple specialities within NUH so require excellent team working and communication skills.
Along with your clinical work across the department you will have protected time to undertake your own continued professional development alongside service development work. You will be given the opportunity to follow personal interests and pursuits whether that is in education, teaching, research or management.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Current registration with professional body such as NMC or HCPC.
2. MSc in advanced clinical practice or an equivalent MSc with the NHSE Centre for Advancing Practice Digital Badge.
3. Registered Independent Non-Medical prescriber.
Experience
Essential criteria
1. Completed portfolio of supervised practice in advanced clinical practice.
Desirable criteria
1. Previous experience working in an acute setting.

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
