We are looking for a motivated Internal Sales & Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.
The job:
The Internal Sales & Purchasing Assistant will support the sales & purchasing teams in providing exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of technical products and services, strong communication skills, and a passion for sales & purchasing.
* Respond to customer enquiries and provide information about our products and services in a timely and professional manner
* Inputting new clients’ details into CRM system
* Raising new enquiries on the internal CRM system
* Pricing direct sales and JCE standard products
* Assist in the preparation of quotations
* Sales order entry in Sage 200
* Selling directly to new and existing clients
* Following up on submitted quotations after a set period of time
* Assist the purchasing team by performing administrative duties related to procurement, including communicating with suppliers to obtain product information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. Processing purchase orders on Sage 200 and filing supplier quotations.
* Arranging delivery of orders to clients where required
* Collaborate with the technical team and operations to understand product specifications and functionalities
* Any additional duties that might be reasonably expected
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a sales or customer service role / purchasing or administrative role is advantageous.
* Basic understanding of technical products and services.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Previous experience using Sage 200 and Sage CRM would be beneficial.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Location: JCE Group (UK) Ltd, Blackburn Business Park, Aberdeen, AB21 0PS
Contract Type: Permanent, 40 hours per week. 8.30am - 5.00pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
