A great opportunity has arisen for an SEN teaching assistant to work on a full time basis in a primary school in Eccles (M30) Teaching Personnel are working alongside this reputable primary school to appoint a SEN Teaching assistant to start ASAP. The role is to support an incoming child in year 2 with Autism for the rest of academic year and likely ongoing. The primary school has a very supportive environment for both pupils and staff. The school SENCO is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who has a calm and nurturing nature who can use their own initiative and make the transition for the pupil stress free. They are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic TA who will bring a positive working attitude and dedication. The pupils in the school are known to be friendly and welcoming. All lessons are carefully planned and are engaging for all pupils. The SEN department is inclusive and has great resources and support structure for both pupils and staff. The successful candidate will ideally experience working with SEN children within an educational background. The pupil struggles with communication and socialising with other children and some adults. So a calm, nurturing approach is required and patience will be needed to build a solid relationship.
