Job Description
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Performing basic architectural and engineering calculations.
2. Preparing specifications, reports, and related data tables.
3. Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.
4. Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as necessary.
5. Completing design assignments of moderate to high complexity under some supervision.
6. Gaining familiarity with codes, permits, and software applications pertinent to the discipline.
7. Learning to prepare designs and drawings using project specifications and discipline-associated written and verbal instructions, in line with established design practices, standards, and procedures.
8. Developing an intermediate to advanced understanding of the purpose and use of vendor documents.
9. Being introduced to the process of performing material take-offs for the discipline.
Qualifications
1. Proficient in using REVIT.
2. Ability to obtain Security Clearance.
3. Experience in UK Nuclear, Defence, or Energy projects.
4. Ability to manage multiple, fast-paced jobs simultaneously.
5. Experience with multi-stakeholder clients and delivering projects within a framework.
6. Experience with projects in the UK and Ireland.
7. Experience in collaborating within multi-disciplinary design teams.
