The Role
The role of Junior Legal PA is to work as part of our Practice Group Support team to provide professional and proactive support to an allocated group of stakeholders.
Our Junior Legal PAs are responsible for a wide and varied range of tasks to support our business. We empower our people to stretch their skills and encourage ongoing personal and professional development through our Development Framework and Learning Paths. The programme is designed to support our Junior Legal PAs with on-the-job training, coaching, continued feedback, and development.

Key Responsibilities of a Junior Legal PA
1. Client focused with regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss actions, priorities, expectations, and future planning
2. Diary management
3. Organising and planning meetings, arranging for necessary equipment and refreshments using the technology and resources available for both physical and virtual meetings
4. Managing and prioritising workload, delegating and owning transactional tasks
5. Acting as the liaison point for colleagues and clients
6. Screening calls and delivering concise messages for callback purposes
7. Assisting with client queries during stakeholder absences
8. Management of emails and correspondence
9. Be a champion for process changes
10. Paper and electronic filing
11. Preparing and submitting expenses
12. File opening and closing
13. Utilise CRM as a key business tool, including managing, updating, reporting, and research
14. Providing comprehensive financial administrative support to stakeholders; ensuring compliance with legal, firm-wide, and practice group specific policies and procedures
15. Managing the end-to-end file management process
16. Assisting with the team on business development follow-ups, sending emails and diarising reminders upon instruction
17. Supporting with marketing and business development related activities, including meet and greets
18. Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with all clients and colleagues, building trust and strong networks
19. Continuously seeking opportunities to embrace technologies which improve our ways of working and that drive efficiencies in day-to-day activities
20. Ambassador for self-serve technology, role modelling the use of technology to support day-to-day tasks as well as aiding team members to embrace new technology-enabled ways of working
21. Supporting the wider PA team, covering team members during absences or when required
