Vickerstock are working in partnership with a manufacturing firm on the appointment of a Health and Safety Officer .
As an EHS Officer, you will be responsible for undertaking duties covering all aspects of Health and Safety in the workplace.

In your new role:
7. Assist in the development of the Company's Health and Safety Management systems across all locations
8. Perform and revise risk assessments
9. Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety Legislation (NI and ROI) for both employees and contractors
10. Offer guidance on Health and Safety issues to managers and staff
11. Conduct investigations into Health and Safety incidents and near misses
12. Prepare monthly Health and Safety reports and compile health and safety statistics
13. Undertake site inspections and deliver training to staff
14. Ensure that contractors' codes of practice are current and followed by all employees and contractors
What you will need to succeed:
15. At least two years' experience in a Health and Safety role
16. Relevant Health and Safety qualification
17. Experience in implementing and managing hazard identification and risk management processes
18. Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation in both NI and ROI
19. Experience in conducting Health and Safety investigations
20. Experience in managing and implementing Health and Safety management systems
21. Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
22. A driving licence and access to personal transport
Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):
23. Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
24. NEBOSH certificate
