The Governing Body at Springside School are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and experienced receptionist/administrator. Applicants must:-
* Possess or be willing to work towards GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade A*- C or Level 9-4, or an alternative Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
* Some knowledge of general administrative work and office systems.
* Experience of using computer packages, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Have an excellent telephone manner
* Be able to liaise with parents and visitors to the school both face to face, email and telephone
The hours of work are 8.00am to 12.00pm Monday to Friday term time plus 1 week.
plicants must have an understanding of the work of a school with a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection while working within a school setting.
Applicants should also have a good understanding of data protection and maintaining confidentiality. Excellent communication skills are a necessity for the role as you will be covering Reception duties and liaising with parents and visitors to the school.
