Job Description
1. Collaborate with the Procurement & Supply Chain teams to provide administration support.
2. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders.
3. Support negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive prices.
4. Manage supplier performance and address any issues.
5. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
6. Assist in the development of purchasing strategies.
7. Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchasing Assistant should have:
1. Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial / manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel).
3. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
4. A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
