We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Help Desk Assistant to work within our Estates office.
The purpose of the role is to provide support in the delivery of an efficient estates management service through provision of planned preventative maintenance and reactive services. This entails arranging planned preventative maintenance works, receiving service requests from sites, processing requests through the estates FM system, arranging reactive/repair works, sourcing quotation for works, assessing technical solution and costing of quotations.
The role will also involve auditing the progress of service request works, auditing quality of service request works through communication with sites and liaising with suppliers to obtain relevant information for setting up in finance system. The postholder will also review and update asset registers and undertake general project administration.
We are seeking applicants who have experience in a facilities management environment, dealing with contractors and a good working general knowledge of estate related health & safety. Experience of working in a team environment is essential.
The successful applicant will also have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and Outlook) and will be experienced in using and extracting data from databases.
