Part-time Robotics and Automation Academy If youre interested in a career in Robotics and Automation 12 training opportunities are currently available at South West College (SWC). If you successfully finish the academy, you will get industry recognised Robotics and Automation qualifications and be considered for a potential job role with one of the supporting companies. Training The Part-Time Robotics and Automation Academy is a fourteen-week part-time intensive training course to prepare you for a job role in the engineering and manufacturing sector under the Assured Skills Programme. Those selected for the Academy will study ETCAL Level 2 Preparing and Using Industrial Robots and Level 2 Assembling and Testing Fluid Systems. If you successfully finish the course, you will be guaranteed a job interview with a supporting company. Those taking part in the course will receive £52.50 weekly training allowance during the Academy and help with travel and childcare costs. Interview and training dates SWC will invite eligible applicants to attend an information session and interview on Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 December 2024 at the Dungannon campus. Successful applicants will attend the intensive training course at the dedicated training venue at the Dungannon campus for the length of the Academy. Training will be each Monday and Wednesday from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm and each Friday from 2.00 pm to 5.30 pm. Training will begin on Monday 6 January 2024 and finish on Friday 11 April 2025.
