Permanent This is a replacement post within the Division to appoint a substantive Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust based at Lincoln County Hospital. The successful candidate will be expected to provide an Obstetric and Gynaecological service, with a special interest in high risk obstetrics. Main duties of the job Women's services has 3 specialties, Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Breast Services. The service is delivered over the 4 main sites; Pilgrim, Louth, Lincoln and Grantham, as well as smaller peripheral sites. The Departments are very busy and work in a friendly and high pressure environment. There are elective and emergency admissions on a daily basis and targets to adhere to. There is support from the Clinical Directors for new developments and new business opportunities. The services are led by the Clinical Directors. It is essential that applicants can demonstrate possession of equivalent experience within Gynaecology, and Labour Ward practice, with appropriate qualifications Pilgrim Hospital is situated beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service. Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services. Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city and with the opening of the new medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service Louth Hospital is set on the edge of the Wolds and serves the communities of Louth and the local area.
