The role will also include behind-the-scenes administrative elements and proactive sales of some of our specific sales products.

Job Purpose
* Provide administrative support with the account management and development of WMT’s existing travel products with a clear focus to help deliver revenues in line with the financial year's agreed sales targets.
* Support the Sales and Partnerships Manager and wider Marketing Team when identifying and driving new revenue opportunities across the Student Travel product & Business Travel product with the attendance at in-person and virtual events, as well as wider industry event attendance in line with sales & partnerships strategic plans.
* Provide sales and administrative support across WMT’s Student Season Ticket product, WMT’s business-focused travel product, Just Business, Group Bookings, and across the wider Marketing Team with e-finance and budget administration.
* To provide administrative support across WMT’s paid-for partnerships and collaborations working with the Sales and Partnerships Manager and wider Marketing Team.
* To support the back-office function of our Student Travel Product and Business Travel Product with administrative help desk and booking support.
* A flexible approach to event attendance (weekend working), working hours, and travel overall is essential in this role.
What skills and experience do I need to do the job?
* Some sales experience within a busy sales and marketing environment - managing several accounts or products and numerous customer relationships at any one time is advantageous.
* Networking experience within previous roles with a genuine desire to be out and about across the network meeting people face to face and selling our travel products.
* Logical thinker with an organised approach and the ability to work both collaboratively within a high-performing team but also on an individual basis across an allocated travel product.
* Ability to juggle priorities to ensure deadlines are met.
* Strong writing skills with the ability to creatively communicate information/ideas.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence in using Excel.
* Clean and valid Driving License, with access to a car and comfortable with driving, along with travelling by train across the geographies we serve.
* Solid customer service skills across written communication and phone calls.
