PA Housing are looking to recruit Procurement Managers who have strong experience in delivering end to end large scale procurements efficiently and effectively whilst remaining compliant with legislation. As a Procurement Manager you will be a vital business partner, you'll lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the entire procurement processfrom initial scoping to contract handover. Your responsibilities As a highly skilled and experiences procurement professional your roles will include: High Value Procurements - Manage end to end high value and complex procurements from 200,000 to 25,000,000 for various categories and teams, in line with legislation and regulatory requirements, from initial scoping to contract initiation and beyond. Mid Value Procurements - Manage end to end mid value procurements over 25,000 for various categories and teams, in line with legislation and regulatory requirements, from initial scoping to contract initiation and beyond. Low Value Procurements - Assist teams with low value procurements under 25,000, providing continuous guidance. Strategic Development - Help develop and implement procurement strategies across all operations. Market Engagement - Conduct compliant research and engagement with supply markets, enhancing knowledge and innovation. Stakeholder Management - Engage with residents, internal customers, suppliers, and third parties, ensuring balanced risk management and a "can do" attitude. Update and maintain the strategic procurement pipeline. Identify and resolve risks and compliance issues. Our ideal candidate As a highly skilled and experienced procurement professional you will demonstrate or have attained the following: Educational Background - Degree in procurement, finance, business, or related field. Strong understanding and experience of Public Sector procurement. Strong knowledge of Procurement Act 2023. Contract Management Strong awareness and ideally experience of contract management and improving supplier performance. Diverse Experience - Experience in various procurement categories including facilities, repairs, development, and back-office solutions.
