We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded law firm in North Somerset, seeking an experienced Corporate/Commercial Solicitor to join their thriving practice. The successful candidate will deliver effective and decisive legal advice to a mix of business and private clients, managing a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. Key responsibilities include:
1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements, including partnership/shareholders’ agreements and agency agreements.
2. Managing changes to company constitutions, share structures, and associated company secretarial tasks.
3. Drafting terms and conditions, commercial contracts, debentures, directors’ guarantees, joint ventures, and franchise agreements.
4. Handling sales and purchases of shares and assets, as well as company refinancing projects.
5. Undertaking necessary legal research to provide accurate and up-to-date advice.
6. Working as part of a collaborative team, assisting with departmental workflows and larger client projects.
7. Establishing strong client relationships by providing exceptional client care and maintaining high standards of service.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
1. A minimum of 3 years’ PQE in corporate and commercial law.
2. Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in corporate transactions and commercial agreements.
3. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload to completion.
4. A proactive approach to business development and networking.
5. A genuine interest in delivering high-quality legal services and building lasting client relationships.
