Integrated Maintenance, repair and development services (IMRDS) is the team that maintains our water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service our customers. This area of Anglian Water has a whole host of roles and opportunities available, from operational frontline work to project management, data analysis and more.

Job Overview
We are seeking three dynamic and technically skilled Engineering and Construction Managers to lead our design, engineering, and construction teams. You will play a key role in overseeing capital investment programs that aim to improve the health and functionality of our water assets while meeting safety and performance standards. This role requires a leader who is adaptable, technically adept, and committed to team development, with a strong focus on achieving financial, environmental, and quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver high-quality design, engineering, and construction of capital projects across your region, ensuring compliance with all safety and water quality standards.
* Oversee project budgets and financial tracking, collaborating with commercial teams to ensure efficient cost management and reporting.
* Develop and maintain an inclusive, high-performing team culture, conducting performance reviews and providing mentorship to support team growth.
* Manage stakeholder relationships with operational teams, alliance partners, and supply chain specialists to ensure smooth project delivery and alignment.
* Champion health, safety, and well-being initiatives, maintaining compliance with all H&S regulations and fostering a safe work environment.
* Drive continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives, embedding a culture of innovation and quality across all project phases.
Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in engineering and construction management, ideally within the water industry or large-scale infrastructure projects.
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing, inclusive teams.
* Proficiency in project management, with experience in financial oversight and stakeholder engagement.
* Demonstrated commitment to health and safety, continuous improvement, and customer service.
* Exceptional communication skills, able to inspire confidence and drive collaborative outcomes at all organizational levels.
