Job Type: Permanent, full time
Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Working from home (occasional attendance required at events in London & Birmingham)
The Company:
The Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) is a membership organisation and charity. Our mission is to advance education in the field of dental implantology for the benefit of the public.
As a registered charity, ADI’s aim is to benefit the dental profession with continuing implant education, and the general public with a greater understanding of the benefits of dental implant treatment, without any commercial bias. We’re a tight-knit team of committed individuals who love what we do and who do it with a smile and a sense of humour.
The Role:
We are looking to recruit a Membership and Events Coordinator to join our busy team. The role will be primarily remote, home-based working, with occasional work in person at events and conferences across London, Birmingham, and the South of England.
The successful role holder will be responsible for the following duties, across administration, events coordination, and financial support:
* Acting as the first point of contact for all enquiries, via telephone and email, and assisting with managing incoming correspondence in liaison with other specialised staff as appropriate.
* Maintaining and updating membership records via the CRM system, processing new applications, renewals, resignations, and subscription payments.
* Handling membership administration, including contacting lapsed members to maximise renewals and overseeing member benefits and invoicing.
* Providing financial administration support, processing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and liaising with external accountants.
* Supporting the planning and delivery of events, coordinating venue bookings, delegate registrations, exhibitor liaison, and onsite coordination.
* Managing event stand sales, invoicing exhibitors, and tracking payments.
* Assisting with general administration, including scheduling in-person and virtual meetings, and preparing paperwork.
* Booking travel and courier services for event supplies, staff, and board members as needed.
* Supporting additional administrative duties as required to assist the smooth-running of the organisation.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a full-service administrative role, preferably within a membership organisation or events-based environment. You will be highly organised, with the ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and follow instructions to ensure smooth operational support. Strong IT skills are essential, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM systems. Experience in using accounting software and direct debit systems would be highly desirable.
You will be a confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to engage professionally with colleagues, members, customers, and suppliers. Excellent customer service skills and a courteous, professional manner are key to this role. Attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability will come naturally to you, and you will take pride in delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and capable of working independently, as well as collaboratively within a small team. You should also be comfortable attending live events, with the flexibility to travel across London, Birmingham, and the South of England as required.
Experience within the healthcare or medical sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
The Rewards:
In return, we are offering a competitive salary package of £34,000 to £36,000 per annum. We operate a flexible working policy in regard to days/hours worked and you will receive 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays per annum (pro-rata).
ADI is a challenging and continuously changing environment and forward-thinking organisation. In addition to offering an attractive salary and working alongside a small but committed team, we support further personal growth and career development.
If you feel you have the skills, knowledge, and experience, and want to be part of an ambitious and growing organisation, please apply today.
Closing date for applications will be Tuesday 11th March.
No agencies please.
If this role interests you, we’d recommend applying as soon as possible. This role is usually very popular, and we may have to close the role early if we receive a high number of applications to ensure we can still offer the best candidate experience
