Support Worker - Day & Waking Night Shifts Available Edgware £13.20 per hour - Full Time Contract Who will I be supporting? A young lady who has learning disability, Smith Magenis Syndrome, ADHD, PTSD. Despite her diagnosis, the young lady has a good sense of humour, has a love for British comedy, listening to music, getting out and about in the community. Visiting the Stables due to her love of horses. It would be ideal that you come to this role already having good background in support work. Willing to engage and make a make a positive difference. This lady has a range of different activities she likes to do. She particularly enjoys doing arts and crafts, and dancing, bowling and visiting charity shops and anything Disney. What will I be doing? You will be supporting to live safely in the community You will support in developing effective ways to communicate needs and to develop empathy for others You will support in understanding relationships and learning about and understanding lady's own health needs You will be supporting to increase her independent living skills, which includes meal preparation, medication administration, budgeting, cooking cleaning and laundry Support with all aspect of personal care What shifts are available? Shifts patterns are: Varied, as well as having Sleep in and also Waking Night. We offer Full Time Hours; 37.5 hours a week.
