An established independent estate agency on the South Coast is seeking an experienced Lettings Manager to lead their vibrant Brighton & Hove team. As the Lettings Manager, you will drive the success of the Lettings department, mentor and support the team, and implement strategies to grow the business further. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Oversee, motivate, and develop a team of 8 professionals, ensuring high performance and cohesion. Client Relations: Build and maintain relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors, delivering a seamless and positive experience. Property Listings: Manage the lettings portfolio, from listing new properties to managing viewings and tenancy agreements. Compliance: Ensure that all lettings activities comply with current regulations, including tenancy agreements, right-to-rent checks, and safety certifications. Business Development: Work closely with senior management to implement strategies to expand the lettings portfolio and grow market share. Performance Tracking: Monitor team and individual performance metrics, setting targets and guiding the team to exceed them. Market Analysis: Keep up-to-date with local property market trends and adjust strategies to remain competitive. About You The ideal candidate has: Lettings Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in lettings, with proven leadership skills and familiarity with local market dynamics. Management Skills: A track record of successfully leading a team, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and drive high performance. Customer-Focused Approach: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to maintain client satisfaction and build lasting partnerships. Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong administrative skills, able to handle multiple tasks while ensuring compliance. Goal-Oriented Attitude: Competitive, results-driven, and eager to help grow the department. Driving License: A clean, valid driving license.
