Scope of the Role:
Primarily, this role is responsible for the estimation of bespoke luxury retail fabrication projects, whilst offering expertise and support to our Fabrication Production Management team where capacity allows.
Initially, this role is responsible for the interpretation and understanding of our client briefs ensuring clear and concise alignment with the Project Team and client. Identifying the best practices in production, material use and, if necessary, a vendor solution is essential to the success of this role whilst costing in full. The next steps of this role are to communicate clearly to the Project and Fabrication departments, with context to ensure our proposals both honour the intentions of the brief and manage all stakeholder expectations.
The day-to-day for this role is the continual interaction with the Project Co-ordination and Fabrication Management teams whilst following a project from concept (and often through to delivery) within a fast-paced and demanding production facility – always with a keen eye on quality, budget and time.
Main Duties AND Responsibilities:
UNIVERSAL

* In depth training is provided as a core part of all new starters’ induction. On–the–job learning remains the single most effective way to learn what we do and how we do it.
CORE KNOWLEDGE BASE
* Fabrication and material knowledge – in particular with regard to build capabilities and restrictions, and best practice for luxury retail environments.
* Creative production understanding – in particular with knowledge of luxury retail fabrication.
* Knowledge of large format graphics is ideal.
CORE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
* Production of accurate estimates with clear and concise explanation of assumptions, compromises and suggestions.
* Production Management of works as and when required.
* General department support as and when required.
MAIN DUTIES:
* Alignment with the project team and occasionally clients on their requirements, details of their briefs and managing expectations where necessary.
* Estimation of fabrication works.
* Creatively providing cost saving or quality raising adjustments or alternatives to client briefs.
* Troubleshooting briefs and requests from clients.
* Establishing CPAs for works in collaboration with the Project and Fabrication Management teams.
GENERAL
* Echo is a dynamic, busy company with a close working team and as such we sometimes require our employees to work on additional bespoke projects outside of their daily duties. This is also aimed to encourage and broaden individual skills and ambitions.
