Responsibilities
The Role:
The Hygiene Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing hygiene standards across our site.
* Manage day-to-day hygiene activities and systems
* Ensure hygiene standards are met and continuously improved
* Lead, train, and develop the hygiene team
* Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance hygiene systems
* Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and customer requirements
* Implement technical strategies based on customer and business needs
* Lead audits and visits, ensuring best practices are standardised and delivered
Qualifications
The Candidate:
To excel as a Hygiene Manager at Dunbia, you should possess the following:
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems
* Attention to detail and quality assurance
* Experience in team building and management, with motivational skills
* Self-motivation with a hands-on approach
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of food safety principles and BRC standards
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
* Background and previous work experience in Hygiene within a manufacturing environment is preferable
