Early Years Teaching Assistant – Openshaw, Manchester. Educate GM is seeking a passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in our partner school in Openshaw, Manchester. Role Overview As an Early Years Teaching Assistant or Nursery Practitioner, you will: Create a nurturing and enthusiastic learning environment for children to learn through play. Work along side the teacher to plan relevant activities for the children to develop their learning. Monitor each child’s progress and feedback to parents/carers. Requirements Previous experience working in schools or nurseries. A Level 1-3 Teaching Assistant qualification. A genuine passion for working with children and making a difference in their school life. Excellent communication skills Contract Details Start Date: January 2025. Duration: Full academic year (full-time). Salary: £85–£105 per day, (dependent on experience). Hours: 8:30am-3:45pm To be eligible to work in this role you must have: The Right to Work in the UK A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) Provide two professional references from previous employers/tutors.
