About the Role:
Teaching personnel are seeking an experienced and dedicated teacher to join our team at a school specialsing in supporting students with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a maternity cover position, offering the chance to work in a supportive and dynamic environment where your teaching can make a significant impact on the lives of students who require tailored and understanding approaches to learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students with ADHD, ASD, and SEMH.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic success.
* Use a range of teaching strategies to support students’ individual learning needs and provide personalised learning plans.
* Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure students receive holistic support.
* Monitor and track students’ progress, providing feedback and adapting lessons as required.
* Build positive relationships with students, encouraging their development and self-confidence.
* Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents, carers, and external professionals.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with children with ADHD, ASD, and SEMH in an educational setting.
* Strong understanding of different learning needs and strategies for supporting students with additional needs.
* Patience, flexibility, and the ability to build rapport with students.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A passion for making a difference in the lives of students with complex learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
