Cover Supervisor (Permanent and fixed term roles available)
Working Hours: 37 per week – with part-time and job share hours available for the right candidate.
Working Weeks: Term time only, including training days
Salary: NJC Scale L £25,700 to £28,772 (Full Time Equivalent)
Actual salary: £22,006 - £24,637 if working 37hrs per week, term time only)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, proactive, and dedicated person to join our team of Cover Supervisors. The Cover Supervisor team is a supportive and well-respected team at the school. Working within the team of Cover Supervisors, and reporting to the Cover Manager, you will:
1. Supervise classes when a teacher is absent
2. Assist with exam invigilation
3. Undertake lunchtime supervision duties
4. Complete administrative tasks where appropriate
You will need to be well-organised, self-confident, and professional in your outlook. Previous experience working with young people is desirable, but not essential. Most importantly, you will have great communication skills and the ability to relate well with both students and colleagues. This is an interesting and varied role, with teamwork being a vital aspect of the job. If you have a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, are well-organised, and are flexible and patient in your work, your application would be greatly welcomed.
