Silcom Recruitment is seeking a Service Advisor to join an established motor trade dealership group based in Slough. The ideal candidate will have prior experience within the motor trade, specifically in a Service Advisor role and eager to grow within their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor or a customer service professional eager to transition into the motor trade.
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Advisor:
1. Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs.
2. Schedule service appointments and manage the service calendar.
3. Act as the primary liaison between customers and the service team to communicate repair needs and timelines.
4. Provide detailed explanations of services, repairs, and associated costs to customers.
5. Prepare and provide accurate service estimates and invoices.
6. Upsell additional services or products where appropriate.
7. Ensure timely follow-up with customers regarding the status of their vehicles.
8. Maintain records of service history and customer interactions.
9. Address customer complaints or concerns, ensuring prompt resolution.
10. Coordinate with the parts department to ensure availability of necessary parts.
11. Monitor the progress of vehicle repairs and update customers as needed.
12. Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and build lasting relationships.
Package:
Basic Salary: £28,000 per annum
On Target Earnings (OTE): £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday [8:00am - 6:00pm] & Saturdays [8:30am - 12:30pm, on a 1 in 3 rota basis paid as overtime]
