The Role Working within a supportive team, the Company Secretarial Department is seeking a General Administrator who will undertake a varied role, working with the team and senior business leads across the Group on a variety of business critical, strategic and business as usual projects, reporting to the Group Legal Counsel, based in Manchester. What you will be doing Responsibility for creating and maintaining a Group property database, ensuring copies of leases and amendment documentation are available in the database & being the primary point of contact on ad-hoc property queries. Assisting on Group insurance matters. This will involve assisting the Group Legal Counsel and Group Company Secretary with queries from the operating Divisions and the insurance brokers, gathering information/data and producing/coordinating reports. Assistance with document preparation & review as may be required by the business from time to time, for example, letters, summaries, reports, KYC gathering and confidentiality agreements. All aspects of administration including invoicing, file organisation, execution & storage of documents. What you bring to the role We’re looking for an organised individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and who is proficient with office software such as Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Familiarity with creating/managing data via a database however this is not essential. Confident, pro-active and motivated. Ability to liaise with key stakeholders in the business face to face, on calls, via email. Team player, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. No prior experience with corporate insurance or property is necessary.
