Clearfield Recruitment have partnered with a forward-thinking building management systems (BMS) company dedicated to energy efficiency and sustainable building operations. Their projects range across commercial, educational, and residential sectors, where they implement cutting-edge solutions to optimize building performance and reduce environmental impact.
We are currently seeking an experienced BMS Project Engineer to join the team and oversee projects across East Anglia and surrounding Counties. You will be responsible for the management and delivery of BMS projects valued up to £200k. You will lead and oversee a team of up to 6 engineers and technicians, ensuring that all project phases, from installation and servicing to maintenance, meet high standards and client expectations. Your role will require a deep technical understanding of Trend or Tridium BMS systems, as well as strong leadership abilities to manage project timelines, quality, and on-site teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and oversee the installation, service, and maintenance of BMS systems, primarily Trend or Tridium, across various contracts across East Anglia and surrounding Counties.
2. Coordinate and manage teams of up to 6 engineers and technicians, ensuring smooth, timely, and safe execution of projects.
3. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on meeting deadlines, budgets, and client specifications.
4. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, assess quality, and resolve any on-site challenges.
5. Maintain close communication with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Collaborate with internal teams and third-party contractors as needed to ensure project success.
Skills & Experience
1. Proven experience working with Trend or Tridium BMS systems in an installation, service, or maintenance capacity.
2. Prior experience overseeing teams of up to 6 people, with a strong record of project management success.
3. Ability to manage and execute project works valued up to approximately £200k.
4. Strong communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide teams and liaise effectively with clients.
5. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the flexibility to adapt to project demands.
The successful applicant can expect to receive:
1. Competitive salary between £50,000 - £65,000, based on experience.
