The role Our Senior operations analysts are part of collaborative, cross-functional teams of engineers, product owners, and operations analysts united by an absolute focus on problem solving, innovating, and delivering great customer outcomes. These are teams of experts, big thinkers, and fast learners who love to get stuff done. As a Senior operations analyst, you will operate the day-to-day operations of your team providing daily confidence in our service and operational outcomes. You will creatively solve problems and closely monitor our service to ensure confidence. Your drive to use your industry and process expertise to create great customer outcomes will inform how the team and our tech meets our wider mission. It’s an exciting, fast-paced role where you’ll be responsible for monitoring, organising and overseeing team outcomes whilst and coaching and sharing knowledge with the wider team. On a typical day you will be… Overseeing the end-to-end order routing process for funds and exchange traded instruments. The go-to person for resolving day-to-day operational issues, acting as the first line of support for trade-related queries and exceptions Monitoring team performance and key outcomes, ensuring all SLAs and industry standards are consistently met Supporting the Operations delivery lead, sharing insights on process performance and identifying areas where improvements can drive better outcomes Maintaining and strengthening operational controls to support today’s volumes and ensuring we’re ready to scale fast, without compromising on control or compliance Coaching and supporting team members with process training, helping to foster a culture of development and operational excellence Supporting the team on daily issues, ensuring all resolutions are in line with COBS and CASS rules This role’s for you if You are a self-starer who loves making things happen and takes a high level of ownership for delivering the best outcomes for our clients You are a hands-on, problem solver who can think outside the box and challenge the status quo to fix tactical issues while also delivering wider daily team outcomes You have a good understanding of 3rd party systems such as Calastone and CREST You are a collaborative and empathetic team player who loves to share knowledge and be the point of contact You are organised and able to coordinate across team members to get things done You are comfortable bringing people together and working across teams to get things done You can communicate messages clearly (both verbally and in writing) to get everyone on the same page You have technical build interest and keen to operate in a tech focused environment This role isn’t for you if You rely on a lot of top-down direction.
