About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This position is on a supply basis, and successful candidates will need to be contactable early in the morning to accept bookings. Your role includes implementing pre-prepared lesson plans, managing classroom behaviour, and creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused on their work. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Provide support and guidance to students during the absence of the regular teacher. Key Skills: Confidence: Ability to confidently lead a classroom and deliver effective lessons. Time Management: Efficiently plan and utilise time to cover a range of subjects.
