About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a well-regarded school in Cannock. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled teacher to inspire and challenge students, helping them develop a solid foundation in mathematics and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual learning needs
Use creative teaching strategies to make maths accessible and enjoyable for all students
Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and a love for learning
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the maths curriculum and ensure consistency in teaching standards
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in Mathematics
Previous experience teaching maths at the secondary level
Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum and a commitment to high-quality teaching
Excellent classroom management skills and a passion for helping students achieve their best
A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
