Job Description
Salary: Up to £25,000 DoE
Location: Nelson (fully office based)
Working hours: 8:30 - 17:00 (Monday - Friday 37.5hrs per week)
Role type: FTC - 6 month maternity cover
As a Marketing Assistant you will be supporting on campaigns across our direct and partner marketing channels. This role will see you supporting on email, direct mail, events, and content, among other tactics. This role has a key focus on new business lead generation across multiple target audiences. You will be part of a talented team of marketers, with the chance to rapidly develop and grow your skillset and take on greater responsibility as you progress.
Responsibilities
* Working with the team to plan, create and execute marketing activities that support customer acquisition for defined customer segments.
* Assisting on wider marketing campaigns, including:
o E-mail platforms
o Direct Mail
o Events
o Exhibitions
o Social media
* Working alongside our in-house design, content, and product marketing teams to support in the production of marketing materials, assets, and collateral to support our sales teams and develop our prospect customer journeys.
* Have a great understanding of our key customer segments and their needs.
* Undertake competitor research.
* Support on in person events.
* Support on any ad-hoc tasks.
Qualifications
* Experience of creating and implementing affective marketing activities online and offline.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Creative with keen attention to detail.
* Able to work well in team projects and autonomously, taking initiative to come up with ideas to regularly create, develop or contribute to campaigns.
* Excellent time management – ability to work across a diverse number of projects, solving problems and managing shifting priorities, whilst working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience of working in the telecommunication industry would be preferred but not essential.
