We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic individual, who thrives in a busy environment to join our Support Worker team within the Bed Management Team.
You will be a part of a team that provides safe and efficient patient transfer across the hospital. It is vital you have a positive approach to helping both staff and patients, and want to provide the best journey possible through our hospitals.
This role is not hands-on clinical care, and is split between providing a portering service across the hospital. In addition, you will make patients feel safe and informed about what is happening and why they are moving, and stock the equipment required to deliver patient care effectively.
Working as a Support Worker, you would be providing portering, administrative, and domestic services, ensuring that patients are moved to the clinical areas in a timely manner. This role covers both Long Day and Night shifts over a seven-day week, which includes bank holidays.
Please note we cannot offer sponsorship for this role.
Our new strategy, developed with the support and feedback of colleagues, patients, and partners, is our compass for the next seven years (2023-2030).
We Have Four Primary Goals:
* High-quality care for all,
* Being a great place to work,
* Partnerships for impact, and
* Research and education excellence.
And we will embed health equality in all we do - taking active steps to reduce the avoidable differences in healthcare that some people face, working in partnership with communities.
Our strategy is underpinned by new values and we will work to ensure they are an everyday reality for all:
* We are compassionate,
* We are proud,
* We are inclusive, and
* We are one team.
This is an exciting moment as we look to the future with clarity on what we already do well and where we need to focus our energies to make an even bigger difference for the people we serve.
