Key aspects of this role will be keeping track of workstreams and updating project plans, updating documents, drafting communications and providing information or advice to our managers and employees. You will also support the team to deliver change management programmes and occasionally complete some operational work requests.
In this role you will be a key point of contact for enquiries and therefore it is vital you are confident communicating with employees in person. You will have an eye for the details and be able to co-ordinate a number of workstreams and prioritise your tasks to meet deadlines.

We’re an ambitious, forward-thinking Council with strong values and a culture of doing our absolute best to serve our residents. We have a programme of internal activity to ensure that the voices of our employees are always heard and that they are kept informed on all Council activity and events.
From roadshows to an annual award ceremony, from reviewing working arrangements to our Hug in a Mug initiative, it is incredibly important our employees are shown how valued they are and that they remain the beating heart of our workplace.
We offer enrolment in the career average Local Government Pension Scheme, a flexi scheme, hybrid working, a generous annual leave entitlement that increases with service, a whole host of family-friendly benefits, 1 days’ paid volunteering leave, lifestyle benefits platform, funded health cash plan, free car parking** and £10 a month gym membership at our four gyms in the district.
