Your main responsibilities will include :
* To support the Headteacher in developing and implementing the educational ethos of St Edward’s and to promote a culture of best practice, supporting, encouraging and challenging teachers to maintain and raise the already high standards.
* To lead by example, providing wholehearted and genuine support for the school’s ethos and vision in a visible, approachable manner.
* To promote positive attitudes amongst staff by sharing good practice, encouraging self-evaluation and by taking a professional approach to problem solving and decision making.
* To oversee the day-to-day smooth running of the schoolProvide strategic leadership, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
* Manage staff, oversee compliance, academic success, operations, health & safety ,curriculum planning, and monitor student outcomes etc .
* To provide outstanding leadership to all colleagues.
* Support professional development and collaborate with senior leadership.
* Foster a learning environment where every pupil feels valued and nurtured.
* Bringing learning to life with hands-on projects and interactive activities.
* Empower students to think creatively, and embrace the endless possibilities of Science.
About You : We're seeking a visionary and dedicated Deputy Head who has :
* A degree level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven track record of leading whole school improvement in a management position
* Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
* Experience of Senior Leadership
* Ability to lead and/or facilitate in-house training
* Excellent knowledge of monitoring and school self-evaluation as a tool for improvement
